Good health and well-being

We prioritize employee's health by providing thoughtful health and welfare policies. These include professional accident and long-term care coverage, as well as defibrillator stations at operational sites staffed by trained first-aid personnel.

Quality education

We invest in education and training programs with customized solutions for our employees. As a company, we cooperate with top notch Universities, such as Milan Polytechnic, and sponsor R&D programs like Dynamic PRC. We also promote circular economy initiatives and offer After-sales training for customers through a wide range of programs.

OCTA Group is a pioneer in "Full Electric" machinery, significantly decreasing the energy consumption and pollution. All of our facilities operate with renewable energy suppliers. Furthermore, production sites are optimized for energy efficiency, featuring advanced cooling and heating systems.

During the years, OCTA Group has developed Industry 4.0 solutions One good example is a dedicated app that enables advanced machinery monitoring and programmed maintenance. System diagnostics are performed in person or via remote technology and augmented reality devices. Software solutions are continuosly upgraded and customized based on customer feedback. The "UII" software simplifies machine programming and optimizes components with ISO codes.

Additionaly, the company sponsors emerging talents in sports such as motorcycling, and promotoes art and culture through collaborations with local theathers. OCTA Group also supports initiatives such as the "15 variations of kindness" project, which repurposes materials to benefit the community.

Responsible consumption and production

Lean production practices are employed to minimize waste and inefficiency in production and product life cycles. Digital procedures and IT secury measures, such as firewalls and HTTPS, are used to safeguard data. Compliance with cookie regulations and adherence to customer privacy are ensured through regular updates to registration lists and considerate management of personal data profiling.

Climate action

5% of our annual turnover is invested in R&D to actively pursue the development of sutainable production technologies, such as full electric technology and energy recovery devices. Top quality commercial components are utilized to ensure optimal performance and easy availability for spare parts. Efficiency is maximized throughout the product's life cycle. Our company's car fleet consists ofa mix of classical, electrical and hybrid vehicles. We prefer low-impact materials, such as water based paints. We select environmentally conscious partners to emphasize sustainability education programs. One example is OCTA Group's support in monitoring glacier melting in collaboration with key organizations such as the CAI (Club Alpino Italiano).

Life below water

We are a partner of the RESILARIO project, registered with the Como Chamber of Commerce and the Lecco API, which aims to preserve Lake Como and its biodiversity. Launched on June 19th 2018, the project involves collaboration among stakeholders to achieve its goals and develop implementation strategies.

Life on land

OCTA Group focuses on waste reduction through sustainable initiatives such as plastic crushing devices and adherence to waste disposal regulations. Employees education on recycling, energy saving and biodiversity is prioritized. One example is the company's direct envolvment with its apiary. Beekeeping workshops actively engage employees in environmental responsability and foster shared social values.

Peace, justice and strong institutions

OCTA Group reallocates its traditional Christmas gift budget to support medical research and patients affected by rare diseases, making donations to the Telethon Foundation and the Comitato Maria Letizia Verga.
